Ramco Block Fix is a polymer-modified block mortar suitable for all kinds of blocks. It is a specially engineered jointing material with an ideal mix of cement, graded aggregates, polymers additives.
Block fix is the easiest and most economical way to lay AAC Blocks, fly ash brick, concrete blocks, etc. The higher tensile adhesive strength of the product results in higher bonding of Blocks. A 3mm-thin bed application of Block Fix substitutes the traditional 15mm thick mortar.

Surface Preparation
The blocks should be cleaned using a brush to remove any dust or lose particles The suction of the blocks should be neutralised by applying clean water to them. Water on the surface should be allowed to disperse before applying Block Fix.
Mixing Procedure
Block Fix is supplied in 40kg bags and has to be mixed with water in a clean mixing vessel. Add 9-10 liters of clean water to a 40kg bag. Water should be added to the mixing vessel before the addition of Block Fix.
Mix the material homogenously with the help of a mechanical stirrer. Allow the mixed material to stand for 5 minutes and mix again before applying, without adding any extra quantity of water. Material that has begun to harden or is caking should not be used.
Application
Apply Block Fix to block, lay the block within the open time specified. In Order to get the uniform thickness of the mortar, comb it with a serrated trowel before placing the block on it. Push masonry blocks into the mortar to form uniform vertical joints with a minimum gap.

Precaution
This product contains cement and contact with skin may cause irritation. It is advisable to wear a filter mask protective clothing. In case of eye contact, wash copiously with water, and if irritation persists seek medical treatment.
